I cant find any websites that allows me to download mp3s to put on itunes/my ipod, because of my parent's web protections. Every good-looking website comes up as ';Software Downloads'; or ';Streaming Media/MP3.';
please help !A free mp3 downloading site that gets through my parent's we protection blocks ?
Try these websites

I would recommend minorcrisis because its the most safe one all you have to do is give them a user name, password and E-mail address.

Does anyone know of Theodore Roosevelt or any other past president having a black parent of half black parent?
I was listening to some old ladies talk in my mom's shop and they said Teddie Roosevelt had a black parent. I'm trying to find out if there is any truth to this story. If anyone knows anything please tell me and leave a reference source! Thanks!Does anyone know of Theodore Roosevelt or any other past president having a black parent of half black parent?
TR having a black or half-black parent? Hogwash!
Warren G. Harding was thought to have some black heritage. During the [1920] campaign, rumors spread that Harding's great-great-grandfather was a West Indian black and that other blacks might be found in his family tree.Does anyone know of Theodore Roosevelt or any other past president having a black parent of half black parent?
This is entirely a myth.
His family tree is clearly accessible and there are no blacks in his back ground.
As far as can 'actually' be proven there are no black ancestors in the back ground of any past president.
Theodore father was Theodore Roosevelt senior
there is a picture of him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_Ro鈥?/a>
Martha Bulloch Roosevelt was his mother
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Bull鈥?/a>
If that were true, and if anyone had known about it, he would never have held any appointed or elected political office, much less the presidency.
The world was a much more bigoted place back then.
Definitely not true. Roosevelt's family was an upper-class society family from New York and they really knew who they were marrying. The rumor is about Warren Harding, but the connection was many generations back, if true at all.dental cosmetics

Can I join Navy Nurse Corps as a single parent?
I'm currently in school working on my second Bachelor's degree for Nursing. I am single and have a daughter. Will they allow me to join? Would I have to give up custody of my daughter?Can I join Navy Nurse Corps as a single parent?
Single Parents are not allowed to join the AD military, they can join the Reserves. If you still want to be AD then you must give up custody of your child for your first enlistment/commission.Can I join Navy Nurse Corps as a single parent?
I was never in the Navy but the army. But I am sure that the navy should be able to work with you on joining regardless. I do not think that you should be giving up custody of your daughter to do this but thru training I am sure you will need to have someone watch your daughter...someone you can trust and maybe another family member. Good Luck.
Nope, you cannot enlist or be commissioned to active duty as a single parent.
You can give up custody, but you would have to permanently give up custody.
You cannot give up custody, be commissioned and then at a later date, gain custody again.
Probably while you're in training you'll have to give custody to someone else. Then you'll need a care plan for her if you have to work all night suddenly or get deployed for 6 months or whatever contingency could arise where you wouldn't be available to make decisions or care for her. Or get married and have a civilian husband which I think is easier. LOL.
Not if you have custody of the child. Single parents are not accepted for induction/commission as either enlisted or officers unless they have given up custody and come in unencumbered.
There's a reason for this. As a junior enlisted or junior officer you will simply not have time to care for a child and serve in the military. Your job is going to come first, always. You can expect to work nights, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts. You can expect to be deployed overseas.
Single women who come into the military and then get pregnant and give birth are given the choice. They can be discharged or they can stay. If they stay they are expected to have a ';care plan'; in place that provides for the child 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There's never an excuse to miss work due to the child. If the care plan breaks down they are discharged whether they like it or not.
call a recruiter and ask!

Can a parent legally say no without further explanation?
Can they?
Especcially when it involves highering your standard of education?
I'm fourteen by the wayCan a parent legally say no without further explanation?
You're funny.Can a parent legally say no without further explanation?
Yes they are your parent they are responsible for you until you are 18. Even after you turn 18 they can still say no whenever they want.
Do you want to have to explain every time you say no about something.

When a parent dies what are the first things that should be done pertaining to finances?
Thanks.When a parent dies what are the first things that should be done pertaining to finances?
well I am not an attorney but here are some things to consider
Is there a will? If so get to an attorney with it ASAP - the executor of the will has most of the fiduciary responsibility
Collect all bank account information and debts. (you may need to watch incoming mail to get a bead on this unless the person was well organized - my mother was ultra organized here)
Collect information on life insurance and retirement (401k, Pension plans)
Collect all credit cards
Look through personal files for information - you may find actual physical stock certificates and tax information
Just some thoughtsWhen a parent dies what are the first things that should be done pertaining to finances?
read will if any, - if no will - talk to a probate lawyer before doing anything - pay for the funeral, contact life insurance companies for claims, pay outstnding bills, s

If someone navigates within an iFrame, I want the parent page to scroll back to the top. How do I do it?
I have an Amazon aStore integrated into a website using iFrames. How can I program the iFrame such than when someone clicks a link within it, the whole page scrolls back to the top - ie as if you were clicking a link on a normal web page instead of the iFrame? I can't modify the links within the aStore manually.
And is there any simple way of making the iFrame autoresize, given that aStores are on a different domain?If someone navigates within an iFrame, I want the parent page to scroll back to the top. How do I do it?
sounds like you need to add a script to your page.
Try googling for an iFrame autoresize script. Something like this I found:
In the header add this:
%26lt;script language=';JavaScript';%26gt;
function resize() {
var iframe = document.all.iframe_name;
iframe.height=document.frames(';iframe_na鈥?
}
%26lt;/script%26gt;
In the body, you'll need this:
%26lt;body onload=';resize()';%26gt;
or...
%26lt;iframe onload=';resize()';%26gt;
Then add this to the iframe property list:
%26lt;iframe scrolling=';no'; %26gt;%26lt;/iframe%26gt;

(Like there's only one computer in the house and the whole family gets on it :// ... well actually there 3 but the other 2 are my sisters who is in college...Any help!?!?!?!?!How to get on a web-site without your parent's knowing?
Well, first all you have to do is go on the site you want, and then you do this afterwards-
Okay, this is what you do:
1. On your right side of the computer screen, look for ';Tools.';
2. Click on it and look for ';Internet Options.';
3. Click on ';Internet Options'; and in the General tab, there should be the ';Browsing History'; Section.
4. Click on the ';Delete'; button.
5. Then, this little window thing will pop up and go to the bottom of the little window tab and click ';Delete All.';
And there you go! :D

Myspace is unregulated and I don't blame your parents for not letting you.
Use Facebook instead and introduce it to them. It's more family friendly. And the only ones that can communicate with you are the friends you allow in.
Also, hiding the fact you have a myspace is a form of lying. When they find out you will not be trusted and loose even more privileges. Don't do it.
