Does anyone know of Theodore Roosevelt or any other past president having a black parent of half black parent?

I was listening to some old ladies talk in my mom's shop and they said Teddie Roosevelt had a black parent. I'm trying to find out if there is any truth to this story. Warren G. Harding was thought to have some black heritage. This is entirely a myth.





His family tree is clearly accessible and there are no blacks in his back ground.





As far as can 'actually' be proven there are no black ancestors in the back ground of any past president.

If that were true, and if anyone had known about it, he would never have held any appointed or elected political office, much less the presidency.





The world was a much more bigoted place back then.
Definitely not true. Roosevelt's family was an upper-class society family from New York and they really knew who they were marrying. The rumor is about Warren Harding, but the connection was many generations back, if true at all.
