The baby could be O or A
As the blood group A can be AA or AO (both are written as group A). Group O is OO (written as group O). If the latter was true (group A person is AO) then there is a 50% chance of the baby being group A and 50% chance that the baby would be group O as the baby would inherit one of the genes from each person. If the group A person is AA, then the baby would also be group A.
Are you sure that your mum is group O and not group A?If one parent is blood type A and the other is type O, What blood type will the baby be?
That depends...A is dominant so mom could be AO or AA...O is recessive so that parent is OO...baby could be either A or O, depending on if the a parent has 2 dominant genes or just the one.If one parent is blood type A and the other is type O, What blood type will the baby be?
Either. But definately not B
