They must be there to sign the form and provide I.D. to prove who they are, but after that, they can go do as they please; they don't have to stay and watch.

well it depends on where you live. i live in california and yes you have to have parental concent because if anything happens to you while or after they are done piercing they are responsible. the reason they have parents present is so they can sign a release form saying they are willing to take the risk.

so i successfully had my lip done - i had my eyebrow before too.


but it looked manly so i kept it for only 2 weeks.
